Die Casting

DSCN2289.JPG (73621 bytes) DSCN2290.JPG (81449 bytes)

Also called "pressure casting" or "compression casting" die casting uses articulated permanent molding with pressurized injected molten metal to create castings in a high production volume environment.  Die casting features excellent casting integrity and the lowest individual part cost, however tooling prices are higher than other casting technologies.

Die Casting Features:

  • Lowest Part Cost
  • High Production Volumes
  • Excellent Casting Integrity
  • Press Sizes 50 Ton to 1000 Ton

Investment Casting

Take a video tour of our Taiwan investment casting facility!

Also known as "lost wax casting," investment casting is an excellent technology for finely detailed cast interior features without articulating tooling or cores.  Competitively priced tooling and the ability to achieve very high detail makes investment casting ideal for smaller parts such as impellors.  Our investment casters can do from very small lots down to 20 pieces, up to the thousands.  Our high-technology investment casters in Taiwan are currently engaged in military contracting from all over the globe, including US military contracts for us.  Our Taiwanese-owned China investment casters specialize in high-volume ductile iron and steel (including stainless) production, and also high tech milspec and aerospace castings.  Whatever your investment casting requirements are, we can do it.

Investment Casting Features:

  • Competitive Tooling Costs
  • Finely Detailed Castings
  • Low Production Volume Easily Accommodated

Gravity Casting

Also called "low pressure die casting" gravity feed, permanent mold casting is an affordable alternative to die casting (pressure casting).  Tooling costs are lower than die casting, and individual piece prices are higher than die casting, but casting quality and finish approaches pressure die casting, and casting integrity is very good.  Gravity casting uses shell cores for internal features, and thus keeps tooling costs lower than articulated tooling required in die casting.  Our gravity casting capability is excellent.

Gravity Casting Features:

  • Lower tooling costs than die casting
  • High casting integrity
  • Die cast finish

Sand Casting

Watch our Thai sand casting facility pour iron!

Sand casting features low-cost tooling, fast turnaround times and good casting integrity.   We do sand casting in Taiwan,  Thailand, and also in the United States with an extremely competitive foundry.

Sand Casting Features:

  • Low Tooling Cost
  • Fast Turnaround Times
  • Good Casting Integrity
  • Excellent choice for prototyping net-near shape castings.

Tooling

We can have your tooling made in Taiwan, China or Thailand, and save you money .    We know the best tooling makers in the business!  Asian Castings may be able to negotiate a tooling rebate for you based on production quantities.

CNC Machining

We have high-technology CNC shops all over Taiwan, in addition to China and Thailand.

Capabilities
Virtually any  CNC machine processes, milling, grinding, EDM, etc., any material.
